Written by contemporary musical theater legend Lin Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana, Encanto) In The Heights follows a tight knit, Latinx community in upper Manhattan known as Washington Heights. Over the course of three summer days they battle gentrification, financial instability, familial bonds and search for the path to their dreams, their love and the future of their home, "The Heights."
